Dress code

Updated Saturday, September 26, 2026

The following dress code applies in the same spaces where the Code of Conduct and Terms of Service (CoC&ToS) for PowsUp! private events apply.

Purpose

The limitations present here are to be seen not as an ethical or ideological stance on the part of PowsUp! but rather as guidelines to safeguard personal safety and maintain the decorum of participants and Staff during events, banning all those outfits and/or behaviors that could offend what is deemed to be a generally shared sensibility.

PowsUp! does not in any way intend to discriminate against or exclude categories or groups of people (fandoms and communities) from its events. Aware that some limitations or gray areas of these rules could be a cause of friction with the tastes and ethics of the individual, we wish to reiterate that the requirements set out here are aimed exclusively at maintaining a relaxed and pleasant environment for the entire community of participants at our events.

In case of doubts, we invite you to contact the PowsUp! Staff at [email protected] or directly in person during an ongoing event.

It is strongly recommended that participants ask in advance about the usability of a certain outfit in case of uncertainty.

Limitations

  1. It is not permitted to remain shoeless (whether with socks/stockings or barefoot) or to use footwear that can easily cause falls or accidents, such as flip-flops or slippers.

  2. It is not permitted to wear clothing that makes genitals, nipples or chest visible, nor underwear.

  3. Pet-play, baby-play or the use of accessories and clothing associated with these practices are not permitted.

  4. BDSM clothing or accessories are not permitted. By way of example but not limited to, garments in latex, vinyl or rubber.

  5. Any type of leash is not permitted, as it constitutes a risk to one's own and others' safety.

  6. Collars that constitute choking hazards are not permitted.

  7. In general, accessories that may pose a risk to personal or public safety are not allowed.

Harnesses, on the other hand, are permitted only if worn in compliance with the other points of the dress code.

The Staff reserves the right to request the removal of any accessories or items of clothing that are not allowed. In cases where this is not possible, entry to the event will not be permitted and no refund will be issued, neither of the deposit, if such violation is found at check-in, nor of the full ticket, if it occurs during the event.

The Staff also reserves the right to determine legitimacy in possible doubtful cases or cases not covered by this Code.
